Welcome to Elotri - Solar Electric Boat

Experience the future of boating with our solar electric boats

The Elotri TC 584 has numbers of unique features.

The hull is a displacement trimaran form, with a long skinny centre hull with a very deep V that protects the propellor and steering gear aft. The chines on the hull evolve into floats to keep the boat relatively stable for such a light craft.

On deck there is a 720W solar panel array on a folding hard top that is connected to the windscreen. On the trailer this all folds flat to minimise wind resistance on the road, and to to secure the cockpit contents and protect the upholstery from sun damage.  The solar array is aimed at recharging the boat ready for next weekends adventure, rather than having to plug it in.

With the press of a remote button the top lifts to sitting headroom. Underway this provides low wind resistance and sleek lines. The helm station includes a carbon fibre steering wheel and dock for a phone and wireless charging.

At anchor the hard top can be raised to full standing headroom for socialising. Under the solar panels is a hose that is warmed by the sun for the shower after a swim.

A table can be added for drinks and nibbles. The helm back rests can be rotated forward tramcar style to provide seating for eight at anchor. Aft in the cockpit the rear squabs can be angled up for lounge seats, or rotated up for bench space for a barbecue or making lunch. These aft seats can be removed entirely to make an open T shaped cockpit.  Washboards can be put in in three places in the cockpit, to keep waves out or children in.

Up forward is a small cabin, with the table providing the infill to make a double bed area, with a fore hatch over for ventilation.

The Elotri TC 584 is set up for family and friends boating fun on sheltered waters. Get in touch today if you’d like to enjoy quiet and emissions free boating on an Elotri!
